Top 10 music streaming platforms by monthly active users

Most monthly active users

Monthly active users show us how many people (free or premium) are regularly coming back to listen to music on the streaming service.

Last month MIDiA published their list of the most-subscribed music streaming platforms, but for this list we’re ignoring paying users and instead focusing on monthly active users (MAU). This gives us an idea of where the future of streaming revenue could come from, should these services be able to convert free users to paying subscribers.

Note that not all streaming services regularly share this data, if at all. Some numbers may be outdated or estimates. Click the number below the streaming service to see the source.
